Job Description – Sales & Marketing Specialist

J&R Manufacturing is the world leader in the manufacture of commercial smokers, grills, and rotisseries. We work with customers in the foodservice industry and have equipment in all 50 states and in over 56 countries. We are a small but dynamic company seeking an energetic team player to join our sales and marketing group. This fulltime position will be based at our office in Mesquite, TX and report to the Vice President of Sales.

The Sales and Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing marketing materials/communications, prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to meet business plans. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and is able to identify and develop new business prospects from marketing campaigns, inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, and individual research.

The Sales and Marketing Specialist is expected to:

• Develop new business leads through mass communication, such as email and social media.
• Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects and appropriate buyers within the target market.
• Develop creative marketing materials, write online content, press releases, and company articles.
• Assess the results of marketing campaigns through analyzing data and statistics.
• Support sales team to improve performance, control, and maintenance of their leads.
• Build and cultivate prospective relationships by initiating communications and conducting timely follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
• Work with the Sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline.
• Drive leads and online traffic with web-based activities, social media, and marketing programs.
• Manage CRM system data for new and prospective clients, ensure all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached.
• Assist in the organization and implementation of occasional tradeshows.

Required experience and knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years marketing / B2B sales and/or inside sales experience.
• Excellent communications skills in person, over the phone, and in writing, Bilingual a plus. (Spanish preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to get things done and work collaboratively with others. Strong team player.
• Digital Social media marketing (Instagram, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc)
• Demonstrated ability to listen and seek out solutions to customer needs.
• Ability to learn product line and handle basic questions relating to the product.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and computer literacy, familiar with CRM tools (Zoho knowledge preferred), and graphics marketing software.
• Love of cooking or knowledge of BBQ would be a big plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
